Worship Clip (2.4 mb-MP3)

"But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship
the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers."

John 4: 23

Manna will follow an "open"worship policy. All worship expressions and forms that are in "spirit and truth" and orderly will be allowed by Manna Church as approved by church authorities and policy. For a fuller and better explanation of the policy, please listen to the audio clip above and/or go to the Worship page in the main menu.

Music

Manna church encourages all musicians to honor the Lord. No one form of music is Godly. The emphasis of most church music is to play to the crowd. Worship expresses to God our heart honestly as we bend our knees. Therefore, we expect that music and Manna will be varied and eclectic. We will have a "house band" to help lead communal worship, but we hope and encourage that a number of different musicians will worship publicly and/or help to lead communal worship. Please check the Focus Page for current opportunities, but if you have music in your heart and soul, contact us--give us the gift of your worship expression. If you are interested in using your music to praise God, please click below to contact us.

Liturgy Planning

All churches have liturgy. It is not just some medeival concept. Liturgy is one of those fancy words we got from Latin, "liturgia" or work of the people. In other words, liturgy is something people do to honor God, not a show just done by the ones up on some stage. We have a two thousand year heritage and Christians around the globe who have and continue to honor God. Manna will draw on all orthodox Christian tradition, as well as the hearts of our own people. Manna church intends to be experimental and eclectic in its use of liturgy, but it will always worship in "spirit and truth". It takes careful planning to plan the liturgy to accord with the worship theme and design. You will learn quite a bit about the Christian church and its traditon. If you want to be a part of that effort, please click below to contact us.

Communion/Baptism

Communion and Baptism are very special times during the life of the church. Manna will not have one set ritual for communion and baptism. If you are interested in the full range of Christian tradition on these subjects (no we won't do them all) and you are interested in aiding our communion time and baptisms, please click below to contact us.

Worship Life Team

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrificies, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing, and perfect will."

Romans 12: 1-2

The key to Manna worship is the "Worship Life" concept. This is a Bible Study, reflection time, and outreach that all worship people should regularly attend and interact with. We will lead the congregation in discovering the 24/7 worship life. This Bible study will ultimately interact with the entire church. It is a crucial Bible study, research, spiritual discipline, and church life concept. If you are interested in participating, please click below to contact us.

Sermon Support Team

This team doesn't exist to say good things about the pastor's sermons, although that would be nice. Rather this team will help the sermons to improve and help to plan sermon subjects needed for the congregation. If you are interested, please click below.

Art

Art is important as people use visual expressions and visual aids to help worship. More importantly, visual artists have long used their talents for worship. We will encourage and expect the artists to be fruitful at Manna. We will also sponsor periodic Christian art exhibits/festivals. If you are interested, please click below.
